  WPUK Unconference ???? UK 2015 number 2 cancelled 

  WPUK Unconference ???? UK 2015 number 2 (working title), which was scheduled to take place on the weekend of 25-26 July 2015, has been cancelled.

  Following examination of the expressions of interest to accommodate the event, the WPUK Core Group has concluded that the event cannot be run at a reasonable ticket cost.

  The Core Group will now consider the practicalities of running an event in February 2016.

      Hi Mike – I’m afraid we couldn’t make the numbers add up to produce reasonably priced tickets. Looking forward to the possibility of an event early next year, here’s one idea that’s been floated – having the camp in the countryside, with the word ‘camp’ being applied in the literal sense.

  This is a reminder the deadline to propose a venue to accommodate WPUK Unconference ???? UK 2015 number 2 (working title) is midday on Saturday 25 April 2015.

  The conference is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 25-26 July 2015.

  Full details of how to propose a venue are on the event venue requirements page.

  It is planned to apply for WordCamp status for the event when the full planning team has been put in place – the conference will be the follow up to WordCamp Birmingham UK 2015.

  Individuals or groups are invited to propose a venue to accommodate WPUK Unconference ???? UK 2015 number 2 (working title), which is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 25-26 July 2015.

  The deadline for completed submissions is midday on Saturday 25 April 2015.

  The venue will then be selected by a ballot of registered WPUK Discuss users.

  It is planned to apply for WordCamp status for the event when the full planning team has been put in place.

  WPUK Unconference ???? UK 2015 number 2 (working title) date announced 

  The weekend of 25-26 July 2015 is the date for WPUK Unconference ???? UK 2015 number 2 (working title).

  This is the follow-up to last weekend’s WordCamp Birmingham UK 2015.

  As for previous events produced by WPUK, the weekend will take place at a venue to be decided by registered WPUK Discuss users from a list of potential locations derived from bids proposed by individuals or teams.

  The exact timetable and venue requirements will be issued shortly.

  Please note the date of this event has been pushed forward from its usual date to increase the gap from WordCamp Europe 2015.

  It is planned to apply for WordCamp status for the event when the full planning team has been put in place.
